hauling a trailer with a Honda Civic?
I have a 2000 Honda Civic EX coupe 4 cylinder with about 130 hp and 100 ft-lbs of torque. I would like to hitch a trailer (87-1/2" L x 52-3/4" W x 22-3/4" H) that weighs 200 lbs with a 540 lb motorcycle on it and drive 1,800 miles (Houston, Texas to Rexburg, Idaho). Will my car be able to handle it? Is it possible? What are the risks involved? What kind of driving experience could I expect? The trunk and back seat of my car will probably be sufficiently filled with stuff as well.

I have a 98 ex coupe with 127 at the motor, but like you, it's probably down to about 110 at the wheel.
I wouldn't recommend hauling anything with a civic that far. You're asking for it.
Go the safe route and rent a truck with a trailer. Tie down your bike in the truck and your car to the trailer. I'm assuming you're moving. If you're not, obviously just tie down the bike.
