B&W companion 5th wheel hitch?

has anyone bought this 5th wheel hitch adapter? can you tell me the pro's and con's of it? how does it hold up on a long period of time, hows the bouncing of the trailer?

I don't have one myself but I do have a friend with one. I've never heard a bad thing about these hitches, all of the reviews seem to be good also. I've rode with the friend of mine with a trailer full of hay and the ride was great. It was about a 2 hour trip all together and it seemed very nice. I have been in a few trucks with a reese 5th wheel and there is no comparison between the 2 when it comes to the over-all ride. B&W seems to make very good quality stuff. My friend has had his for a few years with no problems and it's used frequently, especially throughout the Summer. Again, I don't have one myself but I seen you didn't have any answers, figured I'd help you out the best I could.

trailer hitch question?

i got one on my suburban and i also have the brake adapter(i guess its called this)for the trailer hitch, hooked up. sometimes when its real icy out, the brake will grind all the way to the floor hard. is that connected with the trailer hitch brake or what? my brakes are good.
it only does this like ever so often.

That shouldn't have anything to do with the trailer brake.
