Satellite for a semi?
I'm looking for a satellite system for a semi. I drive truck and I spend my off time in said truck and my dvd collection of tv shows is well getting old. How many times can you laugh at the same joke? I know there are satellite systems out there for RVs which I assume can be used for semis aswell. I also need something that can be attached and removed without leaving perminant marks as I am a company driver and can not mark up the truck. Also, I use both my legs and arms to drive, so I can't use one of each to pay for it. I have looked up a few on the internet but I know I've see other trucks with dishes on them. All I see on the net are dome (like truck satcom systems) or a flat disk that connects to the roof rack of a SUV, RV or Hummer. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'd think of going to the large RV stores where they sell these dishes. I'd shy away from those young energetic kids who sell everything from Cell phones to satellite radio at the truckstops. Here's some hip shot ideas. Radio Shack, I'd even suggest talking to the people who install simply to see what might be required. I know the O/O's from United Van with the big sleepers, they can perhaps point you in a direction. Why are you using all of your arms and legs to drive?
