There's A Game That A Friend Was Telling Me About...?

Basically, my friend described it as a normal guy is trapped/finds himself in an apocalyptic setting where all the people in heaven have disappeared and demons have overrun the Earth. He says one scene of the game is where you are playing as this guy and he's on a bidling side trying to traverse the wall, up ahead a man is hanging on the ledge when suddenly the man is snatched by the demons from a patch of shadows and when he (my friend paying as the guy) tried to go back an explosion happened on the street (from a semi-truck or something exploding or something) and the wall is destroyed so you have no chice but to go forward.

It sounds like an awesome game and I'd love to be able to find it and play it, if possible.

The demons and apocalyptia reminds of a game called F.E.A.R and there's another game I can't remeber the exact name of I think it was horror maybe it started with an h but I'm thinking one of those games is probably it
