The name of computer game, Army/Tank/Helicopter?

I am trying to locate an old PC computer game that I used to play maybe 10 years ago.

It was a semi 3d overhead game. You started in an underground bunker where you had a choice of vehicles like a helicopter / tank / hummer style truck. When you chose the vehicle it would rise to the surface where you would drive/fly to the enemys section and destroy their defences. I think you could do stupid things like run people over.

It wasn't a major title, more of a sharware style game. I can't think of what it was called. I am purely interested to see if I can find it for nostalic reasons.

Any ideas?
After a bit of digging around, I found it. It was called return fire. I'm playing it on vista now, had to turn screen graphics down to 256 colors before it would work. LOL
