heavy duty truck tires
what do you guys think of this?
We have a BIG repair facility in our town. We do both cars and trucks, everything from transmission and engine rebuild to brakes and light. But we dont do tires, they cost to much and you need to have a lot in stock just to get started. Also in our town there is like 8 tire places. One tire place is in town and all they do is tires and small stuff, they send anything hard to us. They seem to do more business than us and we are only 5 miles away but we are on the edge of town. Many people think we just work on heavy duty trucks. We have a big billboard on our property. If we rented it and put a big sign saying we do simple things like spark plugs and brakes, do you think it will be affective? If you were driving down the road and saw a big building with cars in the parking would you be more persuaded if you saw a sign telling some things that they did. We are honest and we bend over backwards for the customer and i hate seeing all the people in town going places to be riped off.
I agree with you in having a more detailed sign. Also, I know that most of the smaller tire stores around me get their tire from a nearby tire wholesale wearhous like http://atd-us.com/ (American Tire Distributers) where they will look up the tire the customer wants on the net and the ATD delivers them the same day.
