Help pls, electrical problem with roof lights?

It should be easy mounting the lights on the top of the truck but i am worried about electrical. There's only 2 wires, a black wire and a brown wire. They are fairly thin wires not heavy duty. I heard you connect it to your headlights or something, how does that work? Like where do i attach the black and brown wire? Also another question is i think the 2 wires are short to go to the headlights so can i just go to parts source and and buy a black and brown wire and connect them to the 2 wires?

The black i assuming is ground and brown is hotwire.yes you can go buy extra wire for the lights to expand because thats what i had to do for my fog lights but thats was a pain cuz it had all easy connects on it and i had to redo all of them but the black wire would go on the ground wire of the headlight and the brown the hotwire of the headlight and when the headlights are on they should come on when you turn on the lights.
