How to winterize your car's floor.?

So there is nothing I hate more than getting wet soggy snow and water seeping into the carpets of my car.
I have tried floor mats, but they suck and they never do a good enough job.

I was curious if anyone knows of ways to completely winterize / water-proof the floors in your vehicle. I'm looking for a rhino liner-like material.

If anyone is familiar with the style they use in Impala and Crown Vic police Edition flooring, something like that.

You can go to a auto upholstery shop and either have them cover or replace the carpet with heavy duty vinyl, which is what the police cruisers and many work trucks have. If you only want this for the winter, you many want to have them remove the carpet, and you save it to be reinstalled next spring.
