My feet hurt intensely at work after just a few hours.?

I stand on a "soft mat" that's designed to soften the floor for standing, but it just doesn't help me. Out of an 8 hour day, I usually stand about 5 hours total. The rest is sitting at my desk.

Anything to help? In-soles, maybe? I bought new shoes and they didn't help at all.
