My sister and I are changing our basement into a dance studio because we have been dancing for 8 years but we wanna get serious and become really good. We need ideas on what to buy, including mirrors for the wall, some kind of flooring, exercise equipment(not expensive), dance/yoga mats, weights, Please Help us with any ideas you have. well you could just use the floor in your basement unless its carpet then in that case you could get some polished wood floor or some smooth tiles. for mirrors you could get a wall mirror if you have the money or five or six regular mirrors from maybe a yard sale or something. you could make a ballet barre{you could find out how to make a cheap one from wikihow.com} for equipment you could again maybe find something from yard sales or ebay. for dance mats they are usually about a 1,000 dollars so unless you have that just get some yoga mats or some pillows. for weights they are cheap or you could use cans of soup. also some good shoes.
