Frost on the inside of my windshield?

Lately in the Winter, (this past year and this year) I'll go to my car after about 2 hours in a building or more and I will find that the inside of my windshield is all frosted over, including my driver's door. Could this be from rust because my driver's door is a little rusted...I asked my dad who works at a car dealership and he said it's from wet floor mats. If so, then why doesn't everyone else have this problem?

You might have a lot more moisture inside or your interior may not be air tight. If you have rust holes through the floor pans or doors, then its like leaving your window open a bit espeically when you drive through wet streets.

Does your car have A/C and does it work? If yes, then you when you turn your defroster on it will turn on the A/C. This is a good thing because it will help to remove moisture from the interior.

You can buy a product called Damp-Rid. It may help with absorbing moisture. But again, if you have holes in the floor, this would just be a waste of money.
